Barangay Lantad

Situated in City of Silay, Negros Occidental, Barangay Lantad is one of 16 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lantad changed from 9,634 to 9,830, a shift of +2.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Silay. Barangay Lantad is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Silay is a city comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lantad, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
