Barangay San Antonio

Barangay San Antonio is a small barangay in the City of Tacurong, located in the province of Sultan Kudarat, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Antonio had a population of 1,446. This made it the 18th largest of 20 barangays in City of Tacurong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Antonio accounted for approximately 1.32% of the total population of City of Tacurong, which stood at 109,319 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Antonio changed from 1,306 to 1,446, a shift of +10.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Tacurong. Barangay San Antonio is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tacurong is a city comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Antonio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Antonio ranks 219th by 2020 population.
