Barangay Tina

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Tina is one of the administrative divisions of City of Tacurong in Sultan Kudarat, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tina had a population of 3,021. This made it the 14th largest of 20 barangays in City of Tacurong by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Tina accounted for approximately 2.76% of the total population of City of Tacurong, which stood at 109,319 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tina changed from 2,576 to 3,021, a shift of +17.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Tacurong. Barangay Tina is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tacurong is a city comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Tina ranks 102nd by 2020 population. Barangay Tina is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
