Barangay Pandapan

Situated in City of Tagum, Davao Del Norte, Barangay Pandapan is one of 23 barangays that make up the city within Davao Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pandapan had a population of 2,504. This made it the 20th largest of 23 barangays in City of Tagum by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Pandapan accounted for approximately 0.85% of the total population of City of Tagum, which stood at 296,202 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,386 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,504 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Pandapan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tagum is a city comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pandapan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Davao Del Norte, which contains 223 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pandapan ranks 128th by 2020 population.
