Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of City of Talisay in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 17,645. This made it the 3rd largest of 22 barangays in City of Talisay by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 6.71% of the total population of City of Talisay, which stood at 263,048 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 13,753 to 17,645, a shift of +28.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Talisay. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Talisay is a city comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 9th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
