Barangay Landahan

Situated in City of Toledo, Cebu, Barangay Landahan is one of 38 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Landahan had a population of 1,776. This made it the 33rd largest of 38 barangays in City of Toledo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Landahan accounted for approximately 0.86% of the total population of City of Toledo, which stood at 207,314 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,183 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,776 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -18.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Landahan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Toledo is a city comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Landahan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Landahan ranks 589th by 2020 population. Barangay Landahan is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
