Barangay Camangaan

Situated in City of Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Barangay Camangaan is one of 39 barangays that make up the city within Ilocos Region.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Camangaan changed from 979 to 941, a shift of -3.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Vigan. Barangay Camangaan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Vigan is a city comprising 39 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camangaan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
