Barangay Pantay Daya

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pantay Daya is one of the administrative divisions of City of Vigan in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pantay Daya had a population of 2,459. This made it the 6th largest of 39 barangays in City of Vigan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Pantay Daya accounted for approximately 4.56% of the total population of City of Vigan, which stood at 53,935 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pantay Daya changed from 2,606 to 2,459, a shift of -5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Vigan. Barangay Pantay Daya is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Vigan is a city comprising 39 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pantay Daya, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
