Barangay Poblacion Centro

Barangay Poblacion Centro is a small barangay in the municipality of Clarin, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion Centro had a population of 1,364. This made it the 5th largest of 24 barangays in Clarin by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Centro accounted for approximately 6.45% of the total population of Clarin, which stood at 21,158 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion Centro changed from 1,285 to 1,364, a shift of +6.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Clarin. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion Centro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
