Barangay Nagsabaran

Barangay Nagsabaran is a small barangay in the municipality of Claveria, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagsabaran had a population of 518. This made it the 28th largest of 41 barangays in Claveria by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagsabaran accounted for approximately 1.62% of the total population of Claveria, which stood at 31,900 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagsabaran moving from 495 residents to 518 residents, an intercensal change of +4.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagsabaran as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Claveria is a municipality comprising 41 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nagsabaran, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
