Barangay Mahayag

Situated in Dagohoy, Bohol, Barangay Mahayag is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mahayag had a population of 1,008. This made it the 10th largest of 15 barangays in Dagohoy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mahayag accounted for approximately 5.07% of the total population of Dagohoy, which stood at 19,874 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mahayag moving from 987 residents to 1,008 residents, an intercensal change of +2.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
