Barangay San Vicente

Barangay San Vicente is a small barangay in the municipality of Dagohoy, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 1,645. This made it the 5th largest of 15 barangays in Dagohoy by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 8.28% of the total population of Dagohoy, which stood at 19,874 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Vicente moving from 1,386 residents to 1,645 residents, an intercensal change of +18.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Vicente as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
