Barangay Maopi

Situated in Daraga, Albay, Barangay Maopi is one of 54 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Maopi changed from 1,197 to 1,310, a shift of +9.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Daraga. Barangay Maopi is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Daraga is a municipality comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Maopi, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
