Barangay Maligaya

Situated in Dinalupihan, Bataan, Barangay Maligaya is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maligaya had a population of 1,953. This made it the 24th largest of 46 barangays in Dinalupihan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maligaya accounted for approximately 1.65% of the total population of Dinalupihan, which stood at 118,209 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maligaya moving from 1,565 residents to 1,953 residents, an intercensal change of +24.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Maligaya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
