Barangay Old San Jose

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Old San Jose is one of the administrative divisions of Dinalupihan in Bataan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Old San Jose had a population of 2,485. This made it the 21st largest of 46 barangays in Dinalupihan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Old San Jose accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Dinalupihan, which stood at 118,209 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Old San Jose changed from 2,421 to 2,485, a shift of +2.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dinalupihan. Barangay Old San Jose is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dinalupihan is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Old San Jose, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
