Barangay Pag-asa

Situated in Dinalupihan, Bataan, Barangay Pag-asa is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pag-asa had a population of 2,466. This made it the 22nd largest of 46 barangays in Dinalupihan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pag-asa accounted for approximately 2.09% of the total population of Dinalupihan, which stood at 118,209 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pag-asa changed from 1,981 to 2,466, a shift of +24.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dinalupihan. Barangay Pag-asa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dinalupihan is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pag-asa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
