Barangay Lacadon

Barangay Lacadon forms part of Dueñas, a municipality in Iloilo, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lacadon had a population of 648. This made it the 20th largest of 47 barangays in Dueñas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lacadon accounted for approximately 1.87% of the total population of Dueñas, which stood at 34,597 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 598 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 648 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lacadon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dueñas is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lacadon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Lacadon ranks 1118th by 2020 population.
