Barangay Poblacion B

Barangay Poblacion B is a small barangay in the municipality of Dueñas, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion B had a population of 785. This made it the 14th largest of 47 barangays in Dueñas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion B accounted for approximately 2.27% of the total population of Dueñas, which stood at 34,597 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion B changed from 755 to 785, a shift of +4.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dueñas. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion B as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dueñas is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion B, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
