Barangay Danao

Situated in Duero, Bohol, Barangay Danao is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

This made it the 13th largest of 21 barangays in Duero by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Danao accounted for approximately 3.65% of the total population of Duero, which stood at 18,861 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Danao moving from 646 residents to 689 residents, an intercensal change of +6.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Danao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
