Barangay Madua Norte

Barangay Madua Norte forms part of Duero, a municipality in Bohol, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Madua Norte had a population of 570. This made it the 17th largest of 21 barangays in Duero by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Madua Norte accounted for approximately 3.02% of the total population of Duero, which stood at 18,861 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Madua Norte changed from 515 to 570, a shift of +10.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Duero. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Madua Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Duero is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Madua Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
