Barangay Calumpang (Pob.)

Barangay Calumpang (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of Famy, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calumpang (Pob.) had a population of 362. This made it the 12th largest of 20 barangays in Famy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calumpang (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Famy, which stood at 16,791 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 536 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 362 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -32.5%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Calumpang (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Famy is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calumpang (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Calumpang (Pob.) ranks 606th by 2020 population.
