Barangay Burabod (Pob.)

Situated in Gamay, Northern Samar, Barangay Burabod (Pob.) is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Burabod (Pob.) had a population of 1,675. This made it the 3rd largest of 26 barangays in Gamay by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Burabod (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.17% of the total population of Gamay, which stood at 23,367 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,591 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,675 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Burabod (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
