Barangay Cadac-an

Situated in Gamay, Northern Samar, Barangay Cadac-an is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cadac-an had a population of 880. This made it the 11th largest of 26 barangays in Gamay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cadac-an accounted for approximately 3.77% of the total population of Gamay, which stood at 23,367 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cadac-an changed from 843 to 880, a shift of +4.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Gamay. Barangay Cadac-an is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
