Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.)

Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Guimbal, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.) had a population of 1,673. This made it the 8th largest of 33 barangays in Guimbal by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 4.78% of the total population of Guimbal, which stood at 35,022 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,712 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,673 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Guimbal is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Rizal-Tuguisan (Pob.) ranks 374th by 2020 population.
