Barangay Cantulan

Barangay Cantulan is a very small barangay in the municipality of Hamtic, located in the province of Antique, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cantulan had a population of 196. This made it the 45th largest of 47 barangays in Hamtic by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cantulan accounted for approximately 0.37% of the total population of Hamtic, which stood at 52,685 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cantulan moving from 180 residents to 196 residents, an intercensal change of +8.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
