Situated in Hamtic, Antique, Barangay Pasu-Jungao is one of 47 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pasu-Jungao had a population of 202. This made it the 44th largest of 47 barangays in Hamtic by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pasu-Jungao accounted for approximately 0.38% of the total population of Hamtic, which stood at 52,685 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pasu-Jungao changed from 151 to 202, a shift of +33.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Hamtic. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pasu-Jungao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Hamtic is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pasu-Jungao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
