Barangay Little Baguio

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Little Baguio is one of the administrative divisions of Imelda in Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Little Baguio had a population of 1,667. This made it the 6th largest of 18 barangays in Imelda by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Little Baguio accounted for approximately 6.41% of the total population of Imelda, which stood at 26,020 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Little Baguio moving from 2,740 residents to 1,667 residents, an intercensal change of -39.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Little Baguio as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Imelda is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Little Baguio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
