Barangay Mali Little Baguio

Barangay Mali Little Baguio is a very small barangay in the municipality of Imelda, located in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mali Little Baguio had a population of 412. This made it the 18th largest of 18 barangays in Imelda by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mali Little Baguio accounted for approximately 1.58% of the total population of Imelda, which stood at 26,020 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 662 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 412 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -37.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Mali Little Baguio is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Imelda is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mali Little Baguio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
