Barangay Malocloc Norte

Situated in Ivisan, Capiz, Barangay Malocloc Norte is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Malocloc Norte had a population of 2,435. This made it the 4th largest of 15 barangays in Ivisan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malocloc Norte accounted for approximately 7.79% of the total population of Ivisan, which stood at 31,278 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Malocloc Norte changed from 2,409 to 2,435, a shift of +1.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Ivisan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Malocloc Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ivisan is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Malocloc Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
