Barangay Poblacion District IV

Barangay Poblacion District IV is a small barangay in the municipality of Julita, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion District IV had a population of 1,115. This made it the 3rd largest of 26 barangays in Julita by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion District IV accounted for approximately 7.15% of the total population of Julita, which stood at 15,598 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion District IV changed from 1,085 to 1,115, a shift of +2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Julita. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion District IV as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
