Barangay Antonino (Pob.)

Barangay Antonino (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Labason, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Antonino (Pob.) had a population of 4,253. This made it the 2nd largest of 20 barangays in Labason by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Antonino (Pob.) accounted for approximately 9.68% of the total population of Labason, which stood at 43,934 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Antonino (Pob.) changed from 3,952 to 4,253, a shift of +7.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Labason. Barangay Antonino (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Labason is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Antonino (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Zamboanga Del Norte, which contains 691 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Antonino (Pob.) ranks 22nd by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
