Barangay Alanib

Situated in Lantapan, Bukidnon, Barangay Alanib is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Alanib had a population of 6,952. This made it the 4th largest of 14 barangays in Lantapan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alanib accounted for approximately 10.54% of the total population of Lantapan, which stood at 65,974 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Alanib moving from 6,436 residents to 6,952 residents, an intercensal change of +8.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Alanib is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Lantapan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Alanib, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
