Barangay Bantuanon

Barangay Bantuanon is a large barangay in the municipality of Lantapan, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bantuanon had a population of 6,102. This made it the 5th largest of 14 barangays in Lantapan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bantuanon accounted for approximately 9.25% of the total population of Lantapan, which stood at 65,974 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bantuanon moving from 6,130 residents to 6,102 residents, an intercensal change of -0.5%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Bantuanon is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
