Barangay Quinobcoban

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Quinobcoban is one of the administrative divisions of Loon in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Quinobcoban had a population of 159. This made it the 64th largest of 67 barangays in Loon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quinobcoban accounted for approximately 0.36% of the total population of Loon, which stood at 44,224 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Quinobcoban changed from 176 to 159, a shift of -9.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Loon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Quinobcoban as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Loon is a municipality comprising 67 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Quinobcoban, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
