Barangay Bebito forms part of Lopez, a municipality in Quezon, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 16th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bebito changed from 1,739 to 1,858, a shift of +6.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lopez. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bebito as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bebito, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
