Barangay Burgos (Pob.)

Barangay Burgos (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Lopez, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Burgos (Pob.) had a population of 2,062. This made it the 13th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Burgos (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.18% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Burgos (Pob.) changed from 2,301 to 2,062, a shift of -10.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Lopez. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Burgos (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
