Barangay Del Pilar

Barangay Del Pilar forms part of Lopez, a municipality in Quezon, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Del Pilar had a population of 1,478. This made it the 18th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Pilar accounted for approximately 1.56% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,333 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,478 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Del Pilar as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Pilar, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
