Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Rizal is one of the administrative divisions of Lopez in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rizal had a population of 3,432. This made it the 4th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 3.63% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 3,842 residents to 3,432 residents, an intercensal change of -10.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Rizal as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
