Barangay Roma

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Roma is one of the administrative divisions of Lopez in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Roma had a population of 229. This made it the 89th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Roma accounted for approximately 0.24% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Roma moving from 212 residents to 229 residents, an intercensal change of +8.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Roma as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Roma, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
