Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba

Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba is a small barangay in the municipality of Lopez, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba had a population of 618. This made it the 55th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba accounted for approximately 0.65% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba changed from 605 to 618, a shift of +2.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lopez. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Niño Ibaba, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
