Barangay Vergaña

Barangay Vergaña forms part of Lopez, a municipality in Quezon, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 32nd largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Vergaña moving from 876 residents to 979 residents, an intercensal change of +11.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Vergaña as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
