Barangay Veronica

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Veronica is one of the administrative divisions of Lopez in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Veronica had a population of 1,060. This made it the 28th largest of 95 barangays in Lopez by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Veronica accounted for approximately 1.12% of the total population of Lopez, which stood at 94,657 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Veronica moving from 1,106 residents to 1,060 residents, an intercensal change of -4.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Veronica as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lopez is a municipality comprising 95 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Veronica, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
