Situated in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, Barangay Camachiles is one of 27 barangays that make up the city within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Camachiles had a population of 13,063. This made it the 8th largest of 27 barangays in Mabalacat City by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Camachiles accounted for approximately 4.45% of the total population of Mabalacat City, which stood at 293,244 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 11,387 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 13,063 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +14.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Camachiles as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Mabalacat City is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camachiles, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
