Barangay Anilao East

Barangay Anilao East forms part of Mabini, a municipality in Batangas, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Anilao East had a population of 1,765. This made it the 12th largest of 34 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anilao East accounted for approximately 3.47% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 50,858 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,626 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,765 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Anilao East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mabini is a municipality comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Anilao East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Batangas, which contains 1,078 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Anilao East ranks 615th by 2020 population.
