Barangay Bacnit

Barangay Bacnit is a small barangay in the municipality of Mabini, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bacnit had a population of 1,371. This made it the 9th largest of 16 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bacnit accounted for approximately 5.18% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 26,454 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bacnit moving from 1,345 residents to 1,371 residents, an intercensal change of +1.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
