Barangay Barlo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Barlo is one of the administrative divisions of Mabini in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Barlo had a population of 1,771. This made it the 5th largest of 16 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Barlo accounted for approximately 6.69% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 26,454 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Barlo changed from 1,605 to 1,771, a shift of +10.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mabini. Barangay Barlo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mabini is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Barlo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
