Barangay Calzada

Barangay Calzada forms part of Mabini, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Calzada had a population of 1,884. This made it the 4th largest of 16 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Calzada changed from 1,834 to 1,884, a shift of +2.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mabini. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Calzada as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mabini is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calzada, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
