Barangay Luna

Situated in Mabini, Pangasinan, Barangay Luna is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Luna had a population of 1,302. This made it the 10th largest of 16 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Luna accounted for approximately 4.92% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 26,454 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Luna changed from 1,370 to 1,302, a shift of -5.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Mabini. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Luna as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mabini is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Luna, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
