Barangay New Visayas

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay New Visayas is one of the administrative divisions of Maco in Davao De Oro, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay New Visayas had a population of 883. This made it the 29th largest of 37 barangays in Maco by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay New Visayas accounted for approximately 1.06% of the total population of Maco, which stood at 83,237 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay New Visayas moving from 761 residents to 883 residents, an intercensal change of +16.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
