Barangay Teresa

Barangay Teresa forms part of Maco, a municipality in Davao De Oro, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Teresa had a population of 2,051. This made it the 16th largest of 37 barangays in Maco by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Teresa accounted for approximately 2.46% of the total population of Maco, which stood at 83,237 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Teresa moving from 2,097 residents to 2,051 residents, an intercensal change of -2.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
